With the 5-1 victory over the Washington Capitals in the books, all Sabres fans are talking about is the Jason Pominville shorthanded goal that all but cemented the game for the Sabres:
That goal got me thinking about another famous Pominville shorthanded goal, the one that iced the Senators series in 2005-06:
So as we revel in the fact that the Sabres are in driver's seat for another playoff berth, I ask you guys which goal was better. We all know that the Pominville OT winner in 2006 was a bigger goal, it clinched a playoff series and it happened in overtime. But which goal was better?
