The Buffalo Sabres were in the playoffs for a total of 24 hours as they Washington Capitals defeated the Minnesota Wild 3-0 on Sunday night to retake the eighth spot in the Eastern Conference. It sets up a big matchup between the two teams on Tuesday night.
