While the Sabres are off, there is the all-star game festivities that kick off with the All-Star Fantasy Draft tonight. Will Jason Pominville get picked last and win the car this year? Will Zdeno Chara just show his true side and go Godzilla on everyone?.. Will someone else cry because they were picked last?
The Fantasy Draft starts at 8pm on NBC Sports Network in the states and TSN in Canada.

It really does look like Pommers will be picked last.
If it’s not him though, I’d have to think Benn or Couture.
I reaiilyhope he does. But it seems like whoever picks Giroux will pick Hartnell as well given how well they’ve played together.
Doubt it.
Giroux will be on a #1 or #2 line and Hartnell will be on a 4th line in the game and in the skills comp.

I don’t really think they have “lines” in the All-Star game. I just don’t see Hartnell being last, I hope I’m wrong though.
I don’t know…..Pommers gets a car if he’s picked last, so I’m sort of rooting for that. It would be the second thing he’s won this week.

I’ve always thought it was pretty dumb when the NHL has teammates playing against each other in the All Star Game. First with the North America vs. the World and now this. Just what the league needs is for a teammate to accidentally injure another teammate with a slap shot or something (b/c there are no body checks, but still)

Thomas is a turd
Tim Thomas is a turd. Keep your politics to yourself; show some class, and be a team player. I believe the bad kharma from this stunt will cause him to lose his mojo and have a terrible remainder of the season.
I love the fake Ovechkin statement. It gets right to the point of how self-centered and prickish Tim Thomas was with the White House thing.
PS – Sorry you didn’t get the car, Jason P. Getting picked 2nd last is worse than getting picked last in this case…
