I am glad to hear Lindy has seen worse. The spiral the Sabres are in right now is the worst I can remember. Ive given up on the season but I still watch just to see how bad it will actually get before something happens. Maybe this was inevitable. Better sooner than later I suppose.

I'm sorry..
.. but, I agree w/ Ruff.. 2 games under .500 when your franchise goalie has been concussed, plus the pieces that were assembled for this year’s effort can’t even be evaluated due to crippling injuries of every stripe, does not add up to “as bad as things could be”. Monday’s loss? Put in 1 of those 1st period chances and the outcome is completely different. They didn’t bury any chances and they got burned every time they made a mistake. Pretty much every team in the league will lose when that happens.
They need confidence is all, and no trade is gonna bring that now. They need to dig and find it. In the meantime, I am all for Ruff sitting players who aren’t bringing it – trouble is, right now that is the entire team, even Vanek and Pominville, in my view.
It would seem misery loves company
Don’t know for sure, but DBTB seems relatively busy these days.
Slightly off-topic
but I was at the Sabres Road Crew event last night and it was a great turnout and a good event. Danny Gare is a super-nice guy. Fun to meet him and Ruff and Playfair.
"Slide DiMaggio, slide!" "Hey, my name isn't DiMaggio, my name is mm..mmmm...mmm....mud."
That's awesome.
Maybe I will get to see them sometime if I head down to Miami to catch a game.

Strange turn of events!
That I now find myself really happy that the Sabres are on NBCSports/VS tonight.
Good Point
Me too
