Add one more to the population of Pominville!
Alex Beilman was absolutely correct in his break down of the career of Jason Pominville. Consider the fact he is a right winger ( possibly one of the most difficult positions to fill ) and there is no more Danny Briere to count on . Premier centres are hard to find as well so drafting is the most important way to achieve these goals (or steal one from Phoenix haha ) . Buffalo has great successat finding 20 -30 goal scorers , they just need afew STARS to align (Mr.Vanek). I personally have high hopes for this years team , but , they need to start off quick unlike last year when they got into a HUGE rut . Stop bashing Pominville and become a member of the population . Rick Jeannerette would be proud ! Sabres 4 life

I dont think people want to trade Pommers just to trade him…
I think people want to trade him because of his salary and as a piece of the puzzle to find a top line C.
I like him, I really do… he brings more to the team than just his scoring(or lack there of over the past few seasons)… but he isnt untouchable.
Now attending the Univ. of Hockey.
I thought this was going to announce Pommers just had a baby or something.

I feel the same way
It freaks me out when people younger than I am are reproducing. And they seemingly all are.
Discussing an increase in the population of Pominville to can only reasonably refer to Jason Pominville scoring…in more ways than one.
I was doing an hommage to Rick Jeannerette.
Sorry folks I had no idea reproduction was going to come into play. I will be more cautious in future posts. Thanks for the input Sabres fans. Sabres 4 life

You just never know when reproduction will come into play. No, we weren’t criticizing, just jumping to conclusions from the post’s title. No need to apologize.

Well, if you say so… But the fact is that scoring RWs are comparatively well stocked in our organization. I’d prefer to keep Pommers because he’s one of the most durable (this year aside) and dependably versatile guys on the team; in a trade I’d rather lose Hecht or Boyes, who both have qualities a team might be looking for. But if we had to lose Pominville to get an excellent center, I’d do that deal.
I'm with you
Hecht can go, and he can take Boyes with him. Pominville on the other hand is one of my favs, I would be sad to see him go
There is nothing worse than exaggeration!- Me
We all say, GO BILLS and I've always wondered, where do we want them to go? I guess to the Super Bowl! -Me
