Montador to Blackhawks
Darcy Regier and the Buffalo Sabres transferred the negotiating rights to Steve Montador over to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for a 7th round pick in either 2012 or 2013 (Nashville's pick previously acquired from Florida in Tomas Kopecky trade). If the Blackhawks are successful in signing Montador, he will likely serve as Campbell's replacement. The game of musical chairs continues in the NHL... it's just all that more enjoyable now that the Sabres actually partake in the fun of an active offseason!

Thanks for everything Monty
And have a great career.
The player I would like least at #9 would be my sister’s cat, Captain Creamsicle. She does have a great work ethic and agility, but I’m really concerned that at 9 lbs., she’s too small to play safety in the NFL. She also bites way too often on play action and is easily distracted by someone waving string in the crowd. Lastly, her wonderlic score was pretty awful, answering "meow meow meow" for most of the questions- Dr. Brackish Okun

Mob:
I’ve meant to ask this for a while. What is your signature about?
The "new" Buffalo Sabres are here! With Superman Pegula handing out the funds, they can do anything and everything!
Good for Monty
He was our best D for about 2/3 of the season, just not the right 2/3. Wish him well in Chicago!

I was pretty surprised by the size of his contract
But what the hell, good for him. He earns it in effort if not quite in outcome. He’s a good dude and I’ll miss him – he just didn’t have a place on this team any more.
