Sabres Announce The Preseason Schedule

Stay connected for news and updates

I mentioned yesterday on Twitter that the Sabres would probably not release their preseason schedule until later in the summer. They proved me wrong today as the schedule was released today:

Monday September 19th - vs. Carolina
Wednesday September 21st - @ Montreal
Friday September 23rd - @ Maple Leafs
Saturday September 24th - vs. Maple Leafs
Sunday September 25th - @ Blue Jackets
Friday September 30th - @ Capitals
Tuesday October 4th - @ Adler Mannheim

The Sabres preseason schedule is somewhat condensed due to the fact that they will be traveling to Europe as they have three games in three nights and five games in six nights. The Sabres will face off in their final preseason game against Adler Mannheim of the DEL, a team that center Jochen Hecht has played for during five seasons in his career.

The Sabres will have two home preseason games, one against the Carolina Hurricanes and the other against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The ticket information for those games has yet to be released but will as we get later into the summer. The actual NHL schedule should be released sometime this week.
