No Drury Buyout
The NY Post is reporting that Chris Drury cannot have his contract bought out due to a degenerative knee condition. The only option for the Rangers are to allow him to stay on the cap this summer and assign him to Long Term Injured Reserve at the start of training camp. At that time his cap hit would come off but he would still be a Ranger for the final year of his deal.
Or he could retire.
Looks like no #23 as the Sabres 3rd line center this year...

Now hopefully the goofy talk about Drury coming back will stop.

WORD
Trade for Carter!
Got some work to do before being a playoff team let alone a contender again!

Carter? He’s under contract for the next 10 years.
"If we needed any more motivation to win a Cup sooner than later, we've got one now," Black said. "I really want to listen to the game that RJ calls when he finally gets to shout out, 'Buffalo wins the Stanley Cup.'"
