Following their OT loss in Washington last night, and Carolina’s big road win over the Islanders, Sunday’s game between the Sabres and Canes promised to be an intense, playoff-like atmosphere. Now with Carolina within just two points of them, the Sabres would need to play a more defensive style of play than the run-and-gun affair they played with the Capitals last night.
