To counter him in goal, the Capitals stated Michael Neuvirth, who was looking for his 26th win of the season. Enroth’s shutout streak would not last much longer, as just 37 seconds in, Tyler Myers got caught up ice and John Carlson and Mike Knuble broke in 2-on-1 on Chris Butler.
