I don't have stats for you, and any fancy graphics. Instead, I have a few questions:
Is this far and away the most important game of the year thus far?
Is it safe to assume it's the exact same lineup as last night?
Are the refs going to swallow the whistles again like they did last night?
Is it fair to say the Hurricanes are a top five hated rival?

A bit disappointing because im not watching the game.

I still blame myself for last night.
Was too nervous to watch (Caps are local, so the game was on tv)…then I heard we had a one goal lead at the end, tuned in…boom everything happened.
Definitely has that playoff feel – I’m so nervous every time the puck’s in our end.

While I agree that it was a dumb penalty, I wonder why his stick is there in the first place. If his stick was down where it should be he would never have had it held.

Great point DO. And for that I think it should not have been a penalty. Let me ask the question – what if that stick caught someone in the face and drew blood? Would there have been a penalty on the Canes for that?
We all know it wouldn’t have been called because they would have claimed to have not seen it. That is why I don’t like the call. I think it should have been called a high stick as well if they wanted to call the holding the stick.
