I know that after each game of this incredible first-round series of the Sabres vs Flyers, I have wanted more. The games have been so compelling that, more than any other time, I am glad I have a podcast to get out my opinions. After the jump, I will tell you why you might care.

The Sports-Casters is a weekly podcast based in Buffalo, NY. We do what is basically an National show with a local flare. We have had guests like John Buccigross, Puck Daddy, Joe Posnanski, Jack Campbell, and Deuce McAllister. When the Sabres qualified for the playoffs, we decided that we would post a 20-minute or so podcast after each playoff game. As the idea has evolved, and the series has become increasingly exciting, we have added a few special guests to the mix.

 

Last week, Flyers beat writer Sam Carchidi was on Episode 16 of the podcast to talk about the series and add a little balace to our pro Sabres propaganda. After the game 4 podcast, Rob Pizzo the host of Puck Daddy Radio on Sirius/XM caught us up on the other series around the league, and after game 5 the main man at Broad Street Hockey Travis Hughes joined us live from the Wells Fargo Center. Tonight, we are recording our game 6 reaction/game 7 preview and it will be up a bit later.

Also, tomorrow we are positing our 17th episode of the show with Wes Bunting from the National Football Post, Kevin McGuire from College Football Examiner, and Pete Williams the author of The Draft talking about the NFL draft. The Bills have a potentially franchise changing pick and we will cover it from all angles.

Last, after game 7 we will record our last reaction podcast for the first round. Win or loose Don and I will react to the game and I am sure if we win everybody will be pumped to consume all things Sabres.
