The Buffalo Sabres still can't seem to keep themselves healthy enough to register a full lineup. The team's injury streak continued with Christian Ehrhoff being the latest victim of injury with an upper body injury:
That fight with Troy Brouwer resulted in an upper body injury that will keep Ehrhoff out of the lineup for what coach Lindy Ruff called weeks. Whether the upper body injury is something broken or a concussion from hitting his head on the ice, we won't truly know.
After losing Andrej Sekera to an injury in the last game against the New Jersey Devils, this is the second game in a row that the Sabres have lost a defenseman to injury. With a game against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday night, expect the Sabres to call up another defenseman from Rochester to plug into the lineup as Tyler Myers is not expected to return to the lineup this week as was earlier reported.
