Buffalo Sabres Prospects Stock Up/Stock Down - November 9, 2011

It is time for our Wednesday look at the Buffalo Sabres prospects that have not made the jump to the American Hockey League. It has been an up and down season for the American Hockey League guys in Rochester. It is more difficult to get a gauge on the progress of the younger prospects because they are scattered in all different leagues throughout the world.

Jerome Gauthier-Leduc - QMJHL	68		(3GP 0G-2A-0P, +2) It wasn't an awful week by defenseman standards. Unfortunately for Gauthier-Leduc, it does not live up to his standards. Gauthier-Leduc has not scored a goal in his last 6 games, since an eight game goal scoring streak ended.
Dan Catenacci - OHL	77		(3GP 3G-0A-3P, 0)Scored a hat trick in a 5-3 victory over the Kingston Frontenacs.
Steven Shipley - OHL	98		(3GP 1G-0A-1P, 0) Scored his only goal of the week in a 5-3 loss to the Oshawa Generals.
Cedrick Henley - QMJHL	173		(3GP 1G-2A-3P, -1) Henley continues to roll in the QMJHL. He had a goal and an assist for the Val-d'or Foreurs in a 6-5 loss to Cape Breton.
Mark Pysyk - WHL	23		(2GP 1G-3A-4P, +4) Pysyk had been showing signs of improvement in recent weeks and he may have finally turned the corner. He scored a goal to go along with three assists but most importantly, he was a plus-4 this week.
Joel Armia - SM Liiga	16		(4GP 1G-3A-4P) Armia has been playing in international exhibitions to get ready for the Four Nations tournament that is set to take place this weekend.
Gregg Sutch - OHL	143		(3GP 1G-0A-1P, -5)Sutch scored a goal this week but that was overshadowed by his minus-four performance in a 4-1 loss to the Plymouth Whalers.
Justin Jokinen - WCHA	101		(2 GP  0G-0A0P, 0) Jokinen has no points in his last three games for the Mavericks.
Alex Lepowski - OHL	137		(2GP 1G-0A-1P, +1) Scored his first goal of the season in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Saginaw Spirit.
Brad Navin - WCHA	197		(2GP 0G-0A-0P, -2) Navin was a minus-1 in both games this weekend, a 7-2 loss and a 3-3 tie against St. Cloud St.
Christian Iasackson - WCHA	203		Did not play.
Drew Mackenzie - HE	209		(2GP  1G-0A-1P, -2)  Mackenzie scored a goal for the Catamounts but he was a minus-2 in a weekend sweep by Providence.
Colin Jacobs - WHL	107		(Did not Play) Has not played yet this season.
Mark Adams - HE	134		(1GP  0G-1A-1P, 0) Adams returned to the lineup this weekend and had an assist in his season debut.
Nathan Lieuwen - WHL	167		(2GP, 1-0-1, 2.88GAA .902 sv%)Continues to be the top goalie prospect in the Sabres system but had a down week. He allowed four goals in a 4-3 overtime loss to Red Deer.
Brad Eidsness - WCHA	139		Did not play. Second week that he did not play.
Connor Knapp - CCHA	164		Did no play. Still waiting for a chance to see the ice after a horrible performance last week.
