SB Nation Expansion Draft: Unprotected List

After a couple days of debate and voting, the final unprotected list is here.
Goalie - Patrick Lalime
Defense - Craig Rivet, Steve Montador
Offense - Cody McCormick, Matt Ellis, Rob Niedermayer
While we had said earlier that McCormick would have to be protected, with the signing of Matt Ellis, McCormick's lack of games no longer matters. Any th oughts or outrages at this point?

I’d personally swap butler and montador in the hopes that they choose Rivet instead of whichever other defensemen is there.
On the Mike Weber bandwagon.
Everything wrong with the Sabres is Drew Stafford's fault.
Ya I like protecting Montador over Butler as well since he still has a few good years in him, but overall a solid list.
Only hope they would pick up Rivet....
Free up 3.5 mil in cap space for us, which would be nice early in free agency. Give us time to go after maybe a higher profile free agent!
