NHL Free Agency Day 2 Open Thread

Stay connected for news and updates

I'm late getting this post up because the first signing of the day has already happened. If you had visions of Pavel Kubina coming to Buffalo, I'm sorry, he signed a two-year deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning this morning.

The Sabres signed Jordan Leopold yesterday and lost Henrik Tallinder and Toni Lydman. Darcy Regier felt comfortable with Mike Weber and M.A. Gragnani as replacements along with Leopold so another defenseman is not on the radar. He did state that he would do anything he felt made the team better which leaves the door open for just about anything. He also seemed to target a couple of forwards in the market.

Comment away on what the Sabres should do today. I will be away all day and most of tomorrow so posting will be light throughout the next couple of days. If the Sabres make a move, I will try to make a short post from the phone. Have fun Sabres fans, and keep me posted on what is happening.
