Around SBN: Randy Moss A Raven?

The Daily Links for Friday July 2

Day one of free agency seen the Sabres lose two defensemen while acquiring only one. It could be a blessing in disguise if it allows Mike Weber to become a regular in the lineup. Friday could be equally as exciting for Sabres fans because Darcy Regier claims he might not be done.

Sabres Edge: Darcy speaks on free agency
If you haven't had a chance to listen to Darcy talk about free agency...I suggest you do. It isn't as bad as you would think, he was very forthcoming and suggests the team isn't done looking at forwards.

Sabres Edge: Quotes from Leopold
Newly acquired blue-liner Jordan Leopold had some nice things to say about his new teammates. He talked to Thomas Vanek before he made his decision and Thomas gave Buffalo a rave review.

Sabres Edge: Enroth the front-runner to back up Miller
Jhonas Enroth will be considered to be the Sabres backup. Enroth is probably ready to make the jump but he would be better served playing in Portland instead of watching Miller play.

Pittsburgh bolsters defence after losing Gonchar to Ottawa. The Penguins lost Gonchar early in the process but they did a great job of replacing him with two key signings on the blue-line.
