I wish I could watch this one. I will be driving and doubt I will be able to get this on the radio where I am going. I’m really curious which version of Team Sybil we’ll see.
More line shifting with Mancari up tonight
Vanek-Roy-Mancari
Hecht-Connolly-Pominville
Torres-Mair-Grier
Ellis-Kennedy-Kaleta
Aside from Mair on the third line, I think this is a pretty solid setup.
I’m fine with Mair on the 3rd line. He has been playing great the last few games. Plus having him with Torres and Grier gives you a very hard working, grinder line. My only problem is seeing Mancari on the top line cause if he is playing with Roy and Vanek, he has to play very strong around the boards and be able to get the puck to them. I just don’t think he can do that.

looking at it almost like a trade addtion- granted he probably wont be up long. This is his chance to come in a make people talk about him staying on the big club. We’ll see what happens. Either way it’s a chance to give this team a little pep…
i thought kennedy would be out for this game with some day-to-day injury
was kind of hoping either ennis or gerbe would get a shot
Ennis has concussion problems.
And missed today’s game with Rochester. Gerbe just got back from missing 13 games with an injury.
Marc Mancari is a Sabres prospect who has good offensive ability but the knock on him is that he tends to play soft. Just like basically all our forwards.

Hmm if memory serves me right, it was just about a year ago when Gomez took out Miller ending our season

Yeah, they are CG. NESN I think is using them as well, or I at least saw them during the college hockey games at Fenway.
MSG started using them last year.

That was correct positioning, as far as i can tell. Anisimov was being fronted by tallinder, and myers knocked dubinsky down with good timing, but he still managed to knock it in.
