Not that I don’t like Mair, but I wish they had a better C to play in between Kaleta and Torres. Someone that’s just a little more consistent offensively but can play with Mair’s heart.

its about time Ruff turned Myers loose. Ruff’s system does not fit some of these guys. Ever notice the game is not as wide open vs Eastern conf opponents?

Well yes.
But they’re minor tweaks not full blown adjustments. The system is a system not something that changes completely for each opponent. That’s not a system at all.

Sabres up 1-0 55 secs in. Dallas tied it 4mins later. Sabres up 2-1 right after pp expired. Mancari on a nice pass from Rivet. 2-2. Dallas goes up 3-2 on a goal miller should have had. first 2 were tips. pomms get a nice deflection 3-3 after 1st. Myers looking strong.

Defiantly a soft goal, but at least the Sabres are scoring. I almost feel like saying now its Sabres Offense Time, whens it gonna be Miller time?

IF he he keeps playing like this. I really like him on the Vanek Roy line!
It sure would be nice if he’s finally put it all together. Worst case scenario is another MacArthur clone. A 3 ponit game followed by 2 weeks of absolutely nothing.

There are a couple of teams that have not lost in regulation but have lost in OT/SO. The Sabres and Kings are the only two teams that have not lost at all if they lead after two periods. The Kings are 25-0-0 when they lead after two.

Does anybody else think Miller tries to play the puck to much this year?
He’s always heading behind the net when it gets dumped back there and a lot of the time it skips over his stick or is just too quick and he doesnt get to it in time… Seems like he’s made more of an effort to play pucks this year, even though there has been 2 situations where its lead directly to a goal against and a handful of other situations where its lead indirectly to a puck in the net, i like the aggressiveness.
I don’t think he plays it too much, I just think he needs to make quicker decisions once he gets back there. Hate it when he waits until the last second.
