I hope the Sabres front office is smart enough to realize that they should be seeking a scoring forward. We have 8 or 9 solid defensemen already, why look for more? The glaring hole in this team is consistent goal scoring. Regier should be laying all the cards out for the best available sniper.

I would love to acquire Alex Steen from the Blues.
He’d be a perfect fit for us IMO.
There aren’t a ton of options in terms of snipers.
I hear Buffalo wants someone to play the power play… they could use help there on the back end. Could be a forward.

We need an offensive defenseman who can still play defense though...
