Buffalo Sabres Prospect Recap: February 20

The ortland Pirates extended their win streak to a franchise high 11 games with Derek Whitmore netting the winner. Philip Gogulla scored twice for the red-hot Pirates. Felix Scutz also scored a goal and TJ Brennan added three assists for Portland. Jhonas Enroth made 23 saves in the victory.

Marcus Foligno stayed hot, scoring his 13th goal of the season as Sudbury coasted to a 5-1 win over the Guelph Storm in Ontario Hockey League action.

Nick Crawford had 2 assists and was a plus three to help the Barrie Colts to an 8-5 victory over the Windsor Spitfires in a matchup the top two teams in the Ontario Hockey League.

Miami of Ohio goalie Connor Knapp made 27 saves in a losing effort in a loss to Nebraska-Omaha.

Nick Eno was outstanding for the second night in a row as he made 38 saves to preserve a 1-1 tie for Bowling Green against Notre Dame.

Drew MacKenzie contributed an assist for Vermont in a 3-3 tie versus New Hampshire.

The DBTB karma came through once again for Brad Eidsness. He made 22 saves as North Dakota swept a weekend series with the number six ranked team in the country. North Dakota rolled Minnesota-Duluth 5-1 at Ralph Engelstad Arena at the University of North Dakota.
