No, Tyler has been getting great press (Versus, Hockey Night in Canada, Internet) for awhile. I think he’ll handle things just fine; he’s a level-headed kid with zero ego problems.

You're right

I should have said he is getting recognized league wide. It was just about a month ago when NHL.com ran a poll and we wasn’t included among the top six rookies.

In a month, he has gone (in the league’s eyes, anyway) from not being considered to being the front-runner.

In a cool “word cloud” experiment at From the Rink, they show in picture form what the Calder buzz is around the internet. It also mentions something about some guy named Ilya and that he might be moving?
