Are we doing this again?

I guess I need a bunch more characters to get this posted, so with the season two days away, I was curious of whether the SPG game was coming back. With a lot more people at DBTB, this can be better than last year!!

I think I need some more words. Yep, just a few more. 75 words is a lot, you know! A lot more than asking a simple question.

lol its funny you mentioned this since earlier today I was looking through old bookmarks and found the SPG link and re-registered.

Right now I’m outnumbered 24:1 by leafs fans, which is definitely unacceptable.

The Sabres’ schedule is up there & I updated the roster based on the team’s website.

For those of you who don’t know about the game: It’s free to sign up & play, and I don’t have any ads on the site or anything. You try to predict which player will take the first Shot, take the first Penalty, and score the first Goal (SPG) for each period (incl. overtime & the shootout) for each of the Sabres’ 82 games. You get a point for each correct guess. The site tracks stats all season.

We had prizes 2 years ago, but last year everyone just played for bragging rights.

Thanks to Dave I won myself an awesome Timmy Connolly jersey (shoosh, I like him) and Sabres t-shirt for winning SPG last year, I will definitely be back in it this year.

On an unrelated note, I moved to Denver at the start of August. I thought Denver was a Hockey city but damn, no one here seems to care, it’s all about the Bronco’s and Rockies. You walk around Galleria Mall and all you see is Sabres hoody’s/hats/jerseys. In all honestly I’ve probably seen maybe 5 Avs jersey’s being worn in Denver since I’ve been here.
