Who Gets Under Your Skin
Hey guys, so I was listening to NHL Home Ice channel on XM today and they were doing a special this morning on who gets under your skin. There were a bunch of people calling from all over the US and Canada, people were saying Daniel Alfredsson, Scott Hartnell, and I'm pretty sure that most sabres fans do not like these players. I unfortunately was not able to get through the phones but I was going to say Chris Neil. Even though he made the decade team (So did Ty Conklin) The hit on Chris Drury couple years back will always be in my mind, plus they are in our division, and they always have our number, so Chris Neil gets under my skin, curious what players get under your skin?

As soon as I saw the title of this post
I was getting ready to type “Chris Neil.” Excellent choice. It’s no coincidence that he’s second in the league (last I checked) in PIMS.
Sean Avery is a very close second. Mostly it’s his off-ice antics, although that waving the stick in front of Brodeur incident was remarkably pathetic.

haha
This should have just been named… ‘Besides Chris Neil, who gets under your skin?’
Hes a scumbag. Another one that falls under that douche title is Mike Richards. Hes an A-hole and the way he goes about everything like everyones out to get him.

A top ten list!
My top 10 hate list, in order, for this year.
1. Chris Neil
2. Jarko Ruutu (the other ruutu is cool)
3. Mike Richards (die)
4. Scott Gomez (creep)
5. Daniel Carcillo (creepy mustache)
6. Dustin Brown (because im jealous he’s not a sabre)
7. All those enforcers that waste a perfectly good roster spot and three minutes of ice time (if they can’t play at least 4-6, they shouldn’t play)
8. Captain Elbows, i mean… Chris Pronger.
9. Daniel Alfredsson
10. Alex Ovechkin (because he not only annoys you physically, then he goes and scores goals! the jerk!)
Sean Avery got off my list two years ago when he got a NHL rule made against him. That makes you cool(er).
All the Flyers were actually on my list prior to becoming flyers (except Richards)
Not even the Toronto Maple Leafs could kill my optimism
6. Dustin Brown (because im jealous he’s not a sabre)
I love seeing him do well (even though I don’t see Western games much) because he’s from my home town. I even had the opportunity to play on his team for a pickup game immediately following his rookie season.
4. Scott Gomez (creep)
I don’t mind Gomez overall and think he’s a pretty good guy. EXCEPT for the fact that he’s the one that took Miller out last season.
I do find that a lot of Flyers and Senators are on my list.
I found it was more the flyers looked at all the players i hated most, and traded for them.
I thought the Miller incident was an isolated incident, so i watched gomez in some games, and it wasn’t. Therefore he went up five places and officially became a creep.
Not even the Toronto Maple Leafs could kill my optimism
Players: Chris Neil, Jarkko Ruutu, Dany Heatley, Ray Emery, Scott Nichol.
Other: Kerry Fraser and Rob Ray (when is the last time he made an insightful comment? he just annoys me sometimes)
Kerry Fraser
lol.
I can’t believe I forgot Ray Emery. First time I ever saw him was in an AHL game, in which he wound up and gave a hefty slash to the back of a player’s knee. I hated him ever since (so before he had even been a Senator!!)
I'll add...
The Stastny brothers
Rick Middleton
Brad Park
Patrick Roy
Sidney Crosby
Bryan Smolinski
Mario Lemieux
Tie Domi
Bobby Clarke
Daniel Alfredsson
Dany Healtley
Brind’Amoure
Ray Emery
Billy Smith
Bob Nystrom
Tiger Williams
Milan Lucic
Chara
Terry O’reilly
Chris Nilan
Claude Lemieux
Dale Hunter
Eric Lindros
I think that’s all I have for now.
That’s a heepload of hate, Kry.
most are deserving. But The Stastny Brothers? Why?
What about the entire Staal family?
Nathan Horton is a young name I would add.

I hated that whole Quebec team. Back then as a kid, the Stastny brothers epitomized the whole “french canadian hockey players are better than you,” even if they themselves weren’t french canadian. It gave me a reason to despise France before I even knew I should.
Also, those Quebec team’s whooped up on the Sabres every game I got to see, so I hate ’em for that too…
I agree
For some reason there are three games from my childhood that stand out and they are all against Quebec. I remember an afternoon game that ended in a 0-0 tie…what a disappointment when you are a kid.
I remember a 7-5 regular season win and Gilbert Perreault had a natural hat trick and finally a playoff game that the Sabres lost by one. Mike Foligno had a late breakaway and scored to tie the game but they called him for offsides. My friends and I taped the game and watched in slow motion over and over yelling at the TV the whole time. I hate Quebec too.

I have a couple friends (Americans, mind you) that complain that there are not enough Canadian NHL teams. Somehow 20% of the league is not enough for them.
Honestly, I would have liked to see the Coyotes move to Canada. My question is, would that have shifted an Eastern team out to the West and cause problems with who is in what division?
Dustin Brown
I currently live in LA and boy oh boy is Mr. Brown fun to watch.

I can't wait
for the Olympics so I can watch him play more (For the good ol’ U S of A).
I’m planning on getting a team USA jersey, and have been wrestling between getting Miller or Brown
THE OTTAWA SENATORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Hello - thanks for reading my signature. It's very interesting. Bye
I agree with the previous comment. We should ship THEM to hamilton.

Darcy "Side Show Bob" Tucker
I can’t believe no one has mentioned Tucker. Remember, he basically ended Peca’s career a few years back. Sure he played after the low hit cheap shot Tucker laid on him but he was never the same player. Tucker is still plying however we never see him ‘caues he’s out in the mountains. I’ll never forgive him for that plus he’s a major league whiner.
Jarko Ruutu and Carcillo
If I was Gaustad’s size, I don’t know I f there could be anything better than throwing a fist through one of their faces.
