Very little I find on the internet surprises me anymore, but I raised an eyebrow at this story. Flyers winger Ian Laperriere had his new false teeth stolen before he could get them in his mouth. Link includes hilarious video of Laperriere (sans teeth) trying to shoot a promo for the "Soles4Souls" fundraiser.

Get excited, Sabres fans – The Hockey News

I will agree that it isnt that crazy inside HSBC. It seems the fans are still waiting for “The Collapse” which we hope doesn happen. But the lasst two years of not making the playoffs and still the fact that Drury and Briere arent on this team have ALOT of people still questioning whether this team is for real or not. Im not one of those people… I think this team is good and have the makeup to do well in the playoffs.

Another reason why the crowd hasnt been all crazy this year too could be the fact that Buffalo is playing a much more defensive game. Rarely are we seeing the 5-6 goal outbreaks like years past. Instead we’re getting 2-1, 3-2 wins. Which wins are wins and Ill take them any way they come… but lets face it, not everyone at HSBC are diehards or even Sabres fans to begin with. Alot of the people there dont know a thing about hockey, so unless we score 7 goals they think its boring.

Once playoffs start (knock on wood) and we get some games there, the place will be rockin and people will be outside screaming during the games again.

Plus I like the fact that Buffalo isnt playing fancy at home as much anymore. I can remember the last two years (hmm we didnt make the playoffs those years) we would try to make the extra pass or cute play to try and “oooo, ahhh” the crowd.
