PrintWhat more can you ask for? The Captain fighting against the newest member of the Sabres blue-line. This was not a very good fight but it was nice to see Montador come to the defense of his teammate and Rivet got a couple of nice shots in. It was tough to declare a winner in the fight but HockeyFights.com declared Craig Rivet the winner. You decide for yourself.

These guys probably shared a few beers and a laugh about this at some golf tournament over the summer.
Monty is always willing to drop ‘em, just don’t expect him to win many. According to HockeyFights.com his record last year was 2-9-2.
