Around SBN: Lakers Should Trade Andrew Bynum So He Doesn't Go To Waste

Buffalo Sabres Roster: Updated August 5

It is not drastic change to the last post but we can add Cody McCormick to the Sabres roster.  He signed a two-way deal but will have an opportunity to make the club on opening day.  The roster wil continue to be updated every time the Sabres sign some one new, re-sign a current player or send a player to Portland.

Stafford

Why has Sabres management not signed Stafford? Could it be that they have decided that he doesn’t figure into the team’s future. They may feel that his lack of consistency last season is indicative of a player whose commitment to his teammates and winning is somewhat less than it should be. Perhaps management is looking for a trade opportunity.

I personally think, they should give Stafford one more season to develop into a consistently productive wing.

They in all likelihood will. If management was unhappy with his inconsistency I don’t think they would have resigned MacArthur.

Stafford will probably be a Sabre next season.
