Morning Links: Blackhawks Investigated by NHL
It was another very tiring weekend for me and I don't have much to say right now. I'll start your week off with a couple of good links and later today we'll wet your appetite with some Buffalo Sabres chatter.

I would guess that the Chicago Blackhawks will escape without punishment in this case but I also think this will make teams think twice about signing players to this type of contract in the future. Contracts like this make an un-level playing field in the NHL so this investigation is good news for Sabres fans.

This is an interesting story an one that is not likely to go away anytime soon. When one case is over another one will almost surely arise. The big question is whether there is any room for criminal prosecution in an event that happened on the ice. What do you think? I think that in almost every case there is no room for criminal prosecution.

It looks like the Jiri Hudler story is finally over and it ends with him playing in the KHL. Anyone want to question whether or not the KHL is formidable competition for the NHL? It appears they are competition and something that General Managers will have to think about when they sign European players, especially those from Russia.
