Buffalo Sabres Announce Pre-Season Schedule

It took awhile but the Buffalo Sabres finally released their Pre-Season schedule today.  I will never understand why they wait until the regular season schedule is already released but they do it every year.  The Sabres begin the Pre-Season schedule with the a home game against the Washington Capitals.  It's likely that players like Alexander Ovechkin will not be in the lineup for the first game of the Pre-Season.

The Sabres will also play a home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Wednesday September 23.  The other four Pre-Season games will all be on the road.

Here is the schedule from Sabres.com

DATE OPPONENT TIME LOCATION
Thursday, September 17 vs Washington 7 p.m. HSBC Arena
Saturday, September 19 @ Detroit 7 p.m. Joe Louis Arena
Monday, September 21 @ Washington 7 p.m. Verizon Center
Wednesday, September 23 vs Toronto 7 p.m. HSBC Arena
Saturday, September 26 @ Montreal TBD Bell Centre
Sunday, September 27 @ Toronto 7 p.m. Air Canada Centre

No weekend preseason games. That doesn’t bode well for attendances and special kids offers.
