Morning Links: NHL Teams get Ready for Free Agency

We are less than 36 hours from the beginning of free agency in the NHL.  Some people think July 1 is the best day of the year next to Christmas.  As Sabres fans we are used to not much happening so it really doesn't mean very much.  Could this year be different or will this year be different?

Vance thinks it would be a good idea to bring back Jay McKee and I have to agree. I would think the price tag would be relatively cheap but I'm not in the negotiations.

As much as things change they stay the same. The Sabres admit that they need to change the philosophy of the team and they get criticized for doing it.
