Trade our #13 pick for #25 Bruins' pick and C Marc Savard

Boston is looking to dump salary so they can keep Phil Kessel, and we need a first line center.  Experts say this is an incredibly deep draft and we could still get a big, physical forward at pick 25.  Savard played every game last year and scored 88 points.  Imagine our first line with Vanek being centered by him!  Our first three lines being centered by Savard, Roy, and Connolly could make for a dynamic offense. Anyone have thoughts???

Here’s a thought – Boston would never do that.

Yeah, not really something Boston would do. Buffalo would have a hard time getting anything from Boston due to divisional rivalries let alone have them give us Savard for a bag of pucks.

In other news

The Bruins are going to trade the Sabres Tim Thomas for a used zamboni and a plate of buffalo wings.
