Sabres First Round Preview

It's time to decide who the Sabres should pick with the number 13 selection in the NHL draft.  I have previewed six players that I feel will fit with the Buffalo Sabres.  There are other players that will be available when the Sabres selection is made but the six I featured are the best fit for this organization.  Here is another look at the six players I featured...

  1. John Moore
  2. Ryan Ellis
  3. Zack Kassian
  4. Peter Holland
  5. Jacob Josefson
  6. Chris Kreider

Now that you have had a chance to review the potential picks you can way in with your decision.  Please vote in the poll or leave a comment if you would like to nominate another player for selection.

Other Draft News

We promised that SB Nation was going to go all out for the NHL draft this season.  We will have eight bloggers, including yours truly, in attendance at the draft and we will have 30 blogs that will be blogging away.  In an effort to make your life easier to find the draft coverage, the amazing tech team at SB Nation has created a draft hub for your viewing and reading pleasure.

Gotta be Kassian

I wrote it over on my site (which by the way, thanks for the link) but I think the Sabres should go with Kassian, if only to feed my ego and saying I was right.

If Kassian isn't availible..

my pick would be Zach Buddish out of Edina High School in Minnesota…He had a set back last year when he tore his ACL but this kid has the size you guys need up front..latest reports have him at 6’1 and 230 pounds..this kid is a play maker in the making
