Give Andrew Peters some credit for lasting as long as he has in the NHL.  The guy is obviously a one-dimensional player and brings absolutely nothing else to the game.  I'm not going to do a full post to talk about Peters because quite frankly...there is not a whole lot to talk about.

There is not one good reason the Sabres should bring him back but expect him to be back in a Sabres uniform next season.

I hate Andrew Peters.

Largely for that golf bit he did against the Leafs.

It was funny, sure, but Peters is the last guy who should EVER do that type of shit.

You know I always thought that Kaleta served Peters role far better than Peters did. I imagine that he could drop the gloves well and be able to agitate as well as Peters and also has the ability to skate and possibly find the back of the net.

That being said, Peters is a cheap option to keep on the bench.

There is one good reason

he’s a good locker room guy in my opinion

he’s a more seasoned thug than is keleta too

He loses most of his fights anyway. He is well liked in the locker room and that goes a long way for a guy who makes the league minimum for a veteran.

This is really an underwhelming list of free agents to sign this year. Which is kind of entertaining

Peters brings only his locker room attitude and team first attitude to the table. He can’t skate, shoot, pass, hit or even fight although that’s what he’s paid to do. He would serve better as equipment manager
