The Race For Eighth: April 7
It has become almost impossible for the Sabres to make the playoffs but the dream lives on. The Sabres need to win all three games while the Panthers and Rangers both lose two of their last three.

it would be a miracle
however – THATS why they play the games!
never say never – so i’ll watch the games at a minimum. but we need help – BIG TIME!
The rest of you go get the goods on Stan. His mom grounded him once for setting something on fire. Let's find out what that something was and then lie and say it was a puppy.
Can you imagine how painfully hard it is...
…for me to have to root for the Flyers tonight? Ewwwwwww…
Oh well, at least it gives me an excuse to listen to the always insane (and ex-Sabres defenseman) Randy Moller call a game.

Florida needs to lose to Washington, and the Rangers need to lose both to the Flyers. I can definitely see both of those happening.
Now, the real question – which Sabres team will show up for the last three? The one with heart and grit? Or the one that played most of the season and put them in this predicament?
The one that played most of this season because if they were really hungry, they would have won the last two games.
That being said, we did get a little bit of help with the Flyers winning but not much. Our chances of making the playoffs stand at 1.2%
