- After the Sabres overtime victory and the Rangers loss...the Sabres control their own destiny. Win every game and in the playoffs. It starts tonight against the New Jersey Devils.
- Ryan Miller is expected to play in his fifth straight game tonight.
- Martin Broduer was expected to get the night off last night but was forced into duty when Kevin Weekes was injured. Scott Clemmensen will back up Broduer.
