Game Notes

Sabres have lost three in a row and five of their last six games.
Mikael Tellqvist is expected to make only his second start since being acquired by the Sabres on March 4.
In his last start Tellqvist made 32 saves and allowed four goals in a 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators.
The Sabres have won all three meetings with the Rangers this season but have not played at MSG since a 3-1 win on October 15. (That was all the way back when the Sabres and Bills were both undefeated...those were the days).
