All-Time Number Debate: 3 Dean Melanson

So many Sabres have come and gone in the organization over the past 39 years.  But who was the best wearing their number.  This is going to settle that debate.  Using the Buffalo Sabres Alumni listing of all-time uniform numbers we will post a player a day based on their number.  After a certain uniform number is up, we put the vote to you.

Dean Melanson played for the Sabres during the 1994-95 season.  He played a total of 5 games for the Sabres, registering no points and one shot on goal.  Melanson was a a career AHLer having played a total of 10 seasons in the AHL with three different teams.  He also made stops in the QMJHL, IHL, Germany and the UHL.  Melanson played a total of 946 games in his career recording 85 goals and 323 points.
