Sabres with Big Home Win

PrintThere won't be much of a recap tonight because it's really late and work comes early in the morning. The biggest thing to remember is it was a huge home win. This was a must win game for the Sabres and they did just that. Every time this teams looks to be out of the hunt they keep hope alive.
Tomorrow I'll share my observations on my first experience at the Arena this season but for now it's time to celebrate. The Sabres are still in 10th place in the conference but they earned two more points tonight and they beat a team they are chasing in the standings.
It wasn't the prettiest of victories but goals by Jaro Spacek, Daniel Paille and Thomas Vanek lifted the team to victory. Let's not forget 30 BIG saves for Patrick Lalime.

I think we need to take up a collection for DO to attend each home game till seasons end. I have BIG superstitions…
