Kevin Schultz, of Barry Melrose Rocks fame, thinks that the Miller's injury is too much to overcome to make the playoffs

Other Playoff Foes

Habs Eyes on the Prize has a recap of the Flyers/Canadiens game last night.

Pensburgh has a recap of the Penguins/Blackhawks game last night.

The Canadiens claimed Glen Metropolit off waivers from the Flyers, the Canucks claimed Ossi Vaananen. 

The Panthers have sent Nick Boynton home for disciplinary reasons.

The NHL is saying that there were some issues with the video review in the Panthers/Rangers game.

Speculation is that Sean Avery will be called up from the Wolf Pack on Monday and that the Rangers are ready to pounce.

Around the Rest of the League

Brendon Witt has been suspended five games for an elbow he threw at Toronto's Niklas Hagman.

The Lightning have slashed some season tickets next year to the bargain basement price of $239.  A ticket, for the whole season.  It works out to $5.83 a game.

Guerin has agreed to waive his no trade clause.

With the Montreal and Pittsburgh wins last night, here's how the conference shakes out.

1. Boston 92 points
2 Washington 83 points
3. New Jersey 81 points
4. Philadelphia 76 points
5. Montreal 73 points
6. Florida 70 points
7. New York Rangers 70 points
8. Buffalo 69 points
9. Carolina 69 points
10. Pittsburgh 66 points

Today is filled with a handful of games on the docket.  Florida at New Jersey at 1 pm, San Jose at Montreal at 7 pm, Buffalo at New York Islanders at 7 pm, Colorado at New York Rangers at 7pm, and Carolina at Atlanta at 7pm
