Connolly Trade?
Let's face it Tim Connolly seems to be mailing it in. I know nothing is on the radar right now, but I wonder if the Sabres should be dangling him out there to see if we can get any kind of return for him. Just throwing out ideas, but what about a deal with the Flyers for Danny Briere? Briere counts 6.5 million against the cap, but both players are underperforming, they have similar stats and both teams need to find a way to jolt their sputtering offenses (unless Philly believes that Blair Betts is the answer to their woes with his 2-goal outburst the other night). If not Briere, then who?

I would take an underperforming Connolly over Briere any day.

I'd take a broken Connolly over Briere any day.
What is it with Sabres fans and always desiring the past? It didn’t work then and it’s sure as hell not going to work now.

really?
trade for the guy who was already here, who signed a contract we wouldn’t pay, who is struggling for a player on our roster who is quite valuable?!?!?!?! I understand that you are just throwing names but not that name!

Uhh..
You say that like it was Briere’s fault that he left. It worked just fine if you don’t remember the fact that he lead our team in playoff points during the 05-06 season if i’m not mistaken. The ownership messed that up, not Briere.
