Good Monday morning.  If you are like me, a fan of both the Buffalo Sabres and the Buffalo Bills, you are happy the weekend is over.  It gets dark an hour earlier now but it was a dark weekend for Buffalo sports fans.  The good news is the Bills have a bye next week and the Sabres get an opportunity to avenge their loss to the Islanders on Wednesday.

I'm sure he will improve steadily with Gaustad giving him lessons. I remember reading about Drury helping Goose out and now he is returning the favor. Zach and I have discussed doing a podcast or possibly a live call-in show but haven't had the time or energy to get it started. How many people would be interested in a live show?

The author describes the events of that day, and personal recollections of the legendary innovator who wound down his career a decade and a half later with the Edmonton Oilers.
