Leading the northeast division and looking good so far..

1. Defense

   Lindy has to love what has played out so far this season. Rookies playing well. An all world goalie. Good production out of his scorers and his bangers. Can we keep this pace for the season?  I want to say yes. Ryan has finally come to the forefront of the league. Myers and Rivet have solidified our defense.  We have a good balance between guys that can score and guys that can defend.

2. Offense

  Timmy staying healthy so far does wonders to our offense. Vanek will always be the guy who picks up 20 to 30 goals a year being in front of the net. Clark and Drew are coming into the league. I guess the dark horse factor is that we are still getting production from our third and fourth lines.

3. Overall

  Several factors play... but for once we seem to be at the top of the list on most of them...Can Miller stay hot? Can Myers stay hot too? Will this team show up more often than not on a third night in four? All signs point to yes right now but time will tell. These guys have the same kind of run in them as the 06-07 guys had in them. Lets just hope they run deeper!. GO SABRES! With a total team effort we have a chance to go all the way.
