It's finally game day for the Sabres.  This is a must win game for the Sabres because the Oilers have plenty of injuries and the Sabres need  a win after last weekend.

WGR 550 SportsRadio - Home of the Buffalo Sabres - Mair Practicing With Sabres
Mair will remain a member of the Sabres squad. He will not be sent to Portland to get ice time. He will remain a healthy scratch until the Sabres see an opportunity to make a move. At this point anything is possible for Mair. He could stay here all season, he could be placed on waivers again and picked up by another team or he could even be traded at some point.

Sabres Help With Extreme Makeover Home In Buffalo | WKBW News 7: News, Sports, Weather - Buffalo, New York | Local News
Thousands and thousands of volunteers are working together to quickly rebuild the house on Massachusetts Avenue in Buffalo, and also give the neighborhood an overall makeover in just one week. Among the crowd of volunteers on Tuesday were several Sabres Alumni such as Larry Playfair and Rob Ray. "We've come down to lend our support because it's a fabulous thing and anytime you can give back it's great," former Sabre Rob Ray said. "We've talked about it for a long time and this was our opportunity to step forward."

The project all started when Delores Powell and her four children were picked by Extreme Makeover Home Edition to have her house on Massachusetts Avenue completely redone. The process started over the weekend when the house was knocked down and everything was cleared away. By the end of Tuesday the frame of the new house was finished.

The house needs to be completed on Friday so there's still plenty of work to be done.

The Sabres are dropping in the SB Nation rankings. All it took was one bad weekend and the Sabres drop four spots in the Top 10 list and two spots in the Eastern Conference.

Jean Sebastian Giguere Would Rather Retire Before Being Backup - SB Nation
Interesting comments from J.S. Giguere. What will the Ducks do, trade away Giggy or will Hiller be the man on the move? It's clear that something needs to happen in Anaheim.
