Adam Mair clears waivers and now the Sabres are faced with a decision. They could choose to keep him in Buffalo or they could send him to Portland. Wouldn't it be interesting if he goes to Portland and plays on Thursday.

That Would not be a Bad idea

I say this because he could help coach the young talent on that team because they could be a huge help for us if anybody goes down. And it could help Adam for after playing hockey coaching or training players.

It would kind of be a kick in the face to Mair to play here thursday. I hope that doesnt happen…

How bad is Florida if they picked up those guys?

What affect does Mair’s clearing waivers have on the cap?

What affect does Mair’s clearing waivers have on the cap?

If he was sent down he would come off the cap but since he is staying with the Sabres, it will have no effect. Life will go on as normal and that Sabres can’t do anything with him for the next 10 games.
