Sabres Prospect Roundup: Nick Crawford and Luke Adam Have Incredible Week
Every Tuesday Die by the Blade will take a look at the top prospects throughout the Sabres organization. This feature will be dedicated to all the prospects that are not playing in Portland this season. These players are scattered throughout the world although we are going to focus on young players throughout North America. Also make sure to check out Sabres Prospects.com for all your Sabres prospect news.
All of the major junior hockey leagues are now in full swing and the college teams will follow suit this week. There are a limited number of players to tal about this week because of the number of players that play NCAA. Luke Adam and Nick Crawford were the two Sabres prospects that stood out this week in the Die by the Blade Prospect Three Stars.
Adam scored three goals and added an assist in two games this week for the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles. Adam scored a goal in a 5-4 win Friday night at Arcadie-Bathurst and he scored twice in a 5-4 overtime win Sunday against Rimouski.
Crawford scored two goals and two assists in three games for the Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League. Crawford had a breakout season in 2008-2009 and is off to a great start in the early going of 2009-2010.
