Sabres Fall to Canadiens: The Morning After
I was hoping that when I woke up the outcome would be different and the Sabres would have won. That obviously didn't happen and the Sabres are 0-0-1 to start the season. Unfortunately we have to wait until Thursday to see them play again. I went through the internet and tried to find as many game recaps and blog posts as I could, so you can read about the Sabres disappointing loss.

Oh, Bucky....
Offseason whipping boy Henrik Tallinder played well alongside Big T. Montador took a dumb penalty but otherwise was solid in his debut.
Do you even watch the games?
Seriously… I am so sick of the media counting this loss as a victory. I don’t care if they doubled Montreal’s Shots on Goal, or if they “controlled play.” In 05-06 they hardly EVER out-shot their opponents, or “controlled play,” yet they managed to score when they needed to pull out a win. THAT is what made them a good team, NOT their SOG count. The way people are celebrating mediocrity is disgusting. The only accountability a team has comes from its fans!
