Myers Remains With Sabres
I'm not sure it is really news because we all expected it but the Sabres made it official today. Tyler Myers will remain with the team for the foreseeable future. If the Sabres decide that Myers needs more time to develop, he will still have to be sent to Kelowna because he is 19 years old. Any 19 year-old player from the CHL is not eligible to play in the AHL. They are allowed to play in the NHL or be sent back to their junior team. With the way Myers is playing this won't be an issue for the Sabres.
A special thanks to everyone who posted this in the fanposts and fanshots. It is greatly appreciated.

Nice Nice.
The Ginger Giant will be around for a while this year!
Well, he is no Carrot-Top
But his picture sure does make him look gingy. I guess he could pass for a day walker or maybe a Strawberry Blonde, but who wants their 6’8" D rookie phenom to be the “Sabres Strawberry Blonde Big-Man”…Ginger Giant just has a nice ring.
Surely you must be joking
Already a fan favorite, Myers is (as stated above) a 6’ 8" rookie defenseman. In addition to the 2G/5A on the stat sheet he also has a shootout winner against Tampa.
