Myers Stays.
This just in from www.Sabres.com
The Buffalo Sabres General Manager Darcy Regier announced today rookie defenseman Tyler Myers will remain with the team for the foreseeable future.
Myers is still eligible to be returned to his junior team, the Kelowna Rockets of the Western Hockey League. As a 19-year old with junior eligibility left, Myers is not able to be assigned to the team’s AHL affiliate, the Portland Pirates.
Myers has 3 goals including his shootout game-winner and 3 assists.
He is a plus 8.
It was pretty safe to say that the kid was staying with Buffalo, but it's nice to read.

So happy . . .
After posting the discussion about Myers a couple of weeks ago, good to see he’s staying. Not sure why Darcy waited, but again not surprised. He waits until the last minute with most issues.
But now I can’t wait to hear the fans reaction to him in the arena tomorrow against the Laughs, especially if he starts

Because he could have been injured.
He could have punched a ref in the face. He could have been traded for Mario Lemieux. Millions of things could have happened that would have forced him to change his mind.
Did he hurt anyone or anything by not saying it a week ago? Myers is still here right? We’re still winning right? There was no pluses to saying it earlier besides making Myers’ apartment hunt a little easier and maybe selling a few extra jerseys. Oh my god, Darcy didn’t do something for the sales!

Oh, I know
That’s Regier for ya. _
That would be exciting. If he was announced as the starting line the arena would go crazy.
I’m hoping he has a great game.
Lalime will most likely be in, so here is Myers chance to be tough in front of our own net and not give Toronto a chance to shoot on Lalime.
