There was plenty of action in the NHL on Thursday but the it was quiet on the news front.  Here are a couple of links for you.

Senators Can't Complete Comeback, Lose 6-5 to Nashville in OT - Silver Seven
The Senators managed to rally back after being down 3-0 in the first period and pushed the game into overtime with 2 seconds remaining, but still ended up losing to the Nashville Predators 6-5. It's always fun to see the Sens lose.

It would be funny if it weren’t so ludicrous.

You can’t be a repeat offender if you never get in trouble for anything.

Why would they pay Kovalchuk $100 million. Trade him for players, prospects and picks and build a team that can contend. They could get a kings ransom for him if they play their cards right. A team like that isn’t one piece away, it is many. Of course, if you trade him, who will buy tickets there?
