It's about time! But how long will he stay in before he goes back on IR!?

Good News

This is great news for the Sabres. The problem is whether or not he can remain healthy. If he is healthy he brings a whole new dynamic to the team.

i believe...

he’ll last about half a period.

just kidding. but no joke, he just seems injury prone and i think he’ll probably be out again this year, unfortunately.

I think maybe you wait to insert a 3rd or 4th line player back into the lineup after a 3 game win streak, but not one of your top 6 forwards.

If he ruins the chemistry, don’t worry, there’s an 80% chance he’ll get hurt and not play in the next game anyway. Problem solved there.

Let's see . . .

Honestly I’ve always been a huuuuge Connolly fan, all jokes set aside, he is one of the more gifted players in this league when he is 100% (see 05-06 playoffs). I look at it like this: we’re playing well right now and he can only help. I honestly cannot wait to see him back on the power play!

Yes, plus he’s playing for his next contract so the motivation for him to STAY IN THE LINEUP couldn’t be higher. ::crosses fingers::
